Joy Melton Joined the NWRPC team in August of 2023 as the Loan Fund Manager/ Business Development Specialist. We are excited to have her on board as the newest member of our staff.
What qualifications and/or work experience do you have that pertain to your position at NWRPC?
I earned my bachelor’s degrees in business and computer science at Everest University graduating on the Presidents’ List. I have been involved with small businesses and economic development, empowering the entrepreneur as well as managing multiple revolving loan funds for the past few years. I am excited to bring my knowledge and expertise to a broader range of businesses in a larger region.
What attracted you to want to work with this organization?
What most attracted me to NWRPC is their passion for empowering success through strategic goal setting, building relationships and their continued drive to better Northwest Wisconsin. I am thrilled to be part of a team that is making a strong impact in our region.
What are you most proud of accomplishing in the past few years?
Aside from my children, I am most proud of my ability to empower entrepreneurs to build their dreams into their realities. Empowering the start- ups and business owners to keep reaching for their goals, empowering their passion, celebrating their accomplishments, and guiding them through the struggles.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work I love spending time with my children, helping (mostly just being in the way) my boyfriend on his dairy farm, enjoying all the beauty our region has to offer, taking photos, canning, and cooking.
