Rocky Ridge Rental in Sawyer County Receives Money

John Stroschine Northwest Regional Planning Commission’s Program Manager presents a Northwest Wisconsin Regional Economic Development Fund revolving loan fund check for $25,000 to Rocky Ridge Rental owner Dina VanGilder. Proceeds of the loan will be used in part to purchase new rental equipment. Rocky Ridge Rental is located on state highway 48 east of the Village of Birchwood in Sawyer County. The business rents equipment and party supplies.

Greunke’s First Street Inn in Bayfield Receives Money

100_4036.jpg Judith Lokken-Strom owner and operator of Greunke’s First Street Inn (Bayfield) holds a revolving loan fund check for $20,000 that she received from the Northwest Wisconsin Regional Economic Development Fund. Proceeds of the check will be used to make improvements to the Inn. The Northwest Wisconsin Regional Economic Development Fund is administered by the Northwest Regional Planning Commission.

Tender Learning Center in Ladysmith Receives Money

John Stroschine program manager for Northwest Regional Planning Commission is pictured presenting a $20,000 Northwest Wisconsin Regional Economic Development Fund check to Tender Learning Center, Inc.’s (TLC, Inc.) President Ann Emmons (center) and Vice President/Treasurer Kathy Pakes. TLC, Inc. is a non-profit child care facility located in the City of Ladysmith. Proceeds from the check will be used to finance an expansion of the facility. TLC, Inc. currently has an enrollment of over 70 children and a staff of 7 full-time equivalent employees.
