Northwest Regional Planning Commission

NWRPC provides administrative services to many local housing rehabilitation programs throughout the region. The Commission continues its long-standing administration of housing rehabilitation for the counties of Bayfield and Sawyer; Cities of Bayfield, Ladysmith, Spooner, Washburn, and Phillips, and the Town of Swiss. NWRPC is pleased to now be administering the City of Park Falls and Village of Rib Lake housing rehabilitation programs. In late 2007, the City of Park Falls was awarded its first housing rehabilitation grant totaling $427,263.

Northwest Affordable Housing continues to make available housing rehabilitation and down payment assistance to eligible low- to moderate-income clients throughout the ten-counties NWRPC serves. Projects include: roofing, siding, heating, electrical, windows and doors, insulation, foundation, sewer, septic and wells, and handicapped accessibility.
