Section 66.1001 of the Wisconsin Statutes details the requirements of all towns, villages, cities, counties and regional planning commissions to prepare a Comprehensive Plan by January 1, 2010. NWRPC has prepared grant applications for local government in an effort to assist in the development of the comprehensive plans and is under contract with local governments to assist them in preparing a comprehensive plan to meet the requirements of 66.1001.
